The Power Spectrum is a term that refers to the various tiers of parts, specifically the color of light that indicates their strength;
each successive tier doubles the strength of the previous (with exceptions). The major tier determines the color of light for weapons fire
along with girder length; the minor tier is for fire rate. There are 11 tiers of parts, each named in rising order after the NATO phonetic alphabet.
Memorizing the color spectrum is a very important part to guaranteeing the safety of the ship being piloted and, ultimately, the sector as a whole:
